On 10/8/17, I was decorating for Halloween when I went carpet surfing on a piece of plastic and unfortunately did the splits all the way down. The Hamstrings in my left leg were pulled completely off my pelvis. I've been told that this type of injury is very uncommon and almost always misdiagnosed in the beginning. Thank God for Dr. Dold! The day after the accident at my first visit with Dr. Dold, he knew exactly what was wrong even without scans but sent me for a MRI the same day to confirm and then had surgery scheduled within days. I totally believe the reason Dr. Dold knew what was wrong was because of the amount of time he took listening to what I was telling him. His bedside manner is beyond exceptional—he actually listens to what you say! He is so knowledgeable, funny, optimistic, and beyond all truly cares for his patient’s wellbeing. After surgery, he even called me several times to personally check on me. Now, 2 ½ months later, I am already doing more physical activity than before the accident as Dr. Dold also handpicked the physical therapy center that would best suite my needs. I was told by another medical doctor (NOT Dr. DOLD) before the surgery that things were not looking good because I was a middle aged, out of shape housewife….ha ha!! Dr. Dold and I proved that theory wrong! 😊😊 Seriously, if you have been injured, call Dr. Dold because this is the best doctor you will ever find. - T.G

I am a very active mom of 2 with extreme and worsening ongoing hip pain for 10 years due to overuse and degeneration. I FINALLY found a doctor/office that I LOVE and that could help me with my my pain. Dr. Dold is an exceptional surgeon and a caring person. He is the first doctor I have found that knew exactly what my problem was after YEARS of mystery! He even took the time to show me in a really great sketch in the office and he explained everything to me. Dr. Dold performed hip arthroscopy on my hip and corrected my FAI impingement, removed bone lesions, irrigated the joint, repaired a labral tear, and injected stem cells into the joint. This procedure has alleviated my pain that I was living in constantly (even at rest). The whole thing was very easy (much better than I was expecting) and I had little to no pain within 3 days of surgery. I was on crutches for 6 weeks, but it flew by and my arms got very strong! I was able to ride the stationary bike within a week of surgery, and that became my exercise routine during my recovery (in addition to physical therapy). Dr. Dold is very realistic about the outcome for me, and although I know that at my age and condition, a hip replacement is probably in my future, I appreciate Dr. Dold and his stellar technique at joint preservation. My other hip is probably next and I have no hesitations with Dr. Dold! He is now our family go-to ortho. He interacts really well with children. I love the office, the staff, the techs, and Baylor attached is also amazing. Great location, but I would be willing to travel for Dr. Dold! - R.G
