Shortly before this scheduled appointment, I had been concerned with a large amount of swelling of my right thigh. I thought it was possibly due to either a problem from by-pass surgery a few years ago or 8 1/2 hours of standing during a recent project for my part-time job. Checking with my surgeon eliminated that possibility. Dr. Hagau told me the swelling was heart related. She scheduled me for scans to be done on my leg that same day to make sure the by-pass was still working---(which it was), and also prescribed meds. She also called me later to let me know the results. I felt she truly cared and I'm extremely pleased with her as my cardiologist. - C.Z

Dr Hagau is very kind, personable and attentive. I think she listens very well and works very hard to keep the symptoms of my chronic heart disease manageable. I will have an angio next week. The office staff listen well, too. They were very thorough in checking me out for and explaining details of angio. - M.B

Surprised how fast everything went. Checked in and immediately was taken to a room, picked up a magazine to read and only got to page 2 and nurse came in. I have an irregular heart beat. Dr. Denisa prescribed two procedures for me in order to discover a possible problem and solution. I had a stress test using medicine, and had my legs checked for possible blockage. Both test were negative. I appreciate Dr. Hagau as a physician and would recommend her to anyone. - T.H

Dr. Hagau examined heart surgery incision and discovered "stitch" that poked through the skin that was not allowing the incision to heal properly. It was clipped off and we will see if this helps the healing process. - G.C
