I have been a patient at your facility since November 2016. I have been hospitalized 4 times, many procedures done, and many appointments between cardiology and my general physician. I have had many nurses, Doctors and blood drawers. I have always had a good experience and have been very satisfied with my visits. I will miss Dr Cookman but wish him and his family the best of luck in their new venture in life.

Dr. Cookman performed my stent procedure a year ago. During the course of the year I was directed to a different cardiologist that just kept giving me more and more prescriptions and I felt worse and worse. When my appointment for my one year evaluation came up I insisted on seeing Dr. Cookman. He was patient and kind with me, he didn't laugh at my questions (the previous cardiologist had) he allowed me to get off a couple of my medications which has made me feel better - he did some additional testing to see if he can help relieve some of my symptoms - he scheduled re-visits to see how I was doing. I hope to continue being Dr. Cookman's patient - my father passed at 58 of a massive heart attack and I'm hopeful with Dr. Cookman's help I won't be a statistic as well.

For whatever reason you need to, going to a cardiologist can be stressful. I found all of the staff super friendly and warm. Dr. Cookman was very nice and explained things very well.

Dr. Cookman and the staff were amazing. They provided outstanding treatment and care and literally saved my life. My artery disease had progressed to a critical point and their professional care (stents) has me on my feet, back to work and living an active life again. I appreciated the provider coming to the local facility to see me saving me an extended trip to Mason City. I have not received my results; but this is to be done on October 11, 2017.

This was my first time visit since moving from Minneapolis to Mason City about a month ago. I thought Dr. Cookman did a good job of trying to get information on my heart condition and how I was being treated for it in Minneapolis.
