I signed in when I arrived and provided a urine sample shortly after signing in. I was taken back to an exam room where I changed into a gown and had my physical and vitals taken. Dr. Miller and I went through my information, and she conducted a physical and vaginal exam, including a Pap smear and cultures. Dr. Miller refilled my birth control, and I had my blood taken. The staff was extremely courteous and made me feel comfortable throughout my appointment, as they always do. I had an ultrasound in which the doctor showed me the images of my uterus and ovaries as well as fully explained what she was doing. I also had a fasting blood draw. It was very easy to schedule the exam. I had no difficulties during the exam. The doctor explained what she was doing, why she was looking for certain things and what the results were. My Mother, also One of Dr Miller's Patients, was diagnosed with Stage 3, Stomach Cancer... BECAUSE Dr. Miller, ordered Tests, that pin-pointed The Symptoms, My Mom was having. She also, referred Us to RML, a Speciality Hospital, in Hinsdale, IL, that allowed My Mom, to receive Care, while We kept interceding in Prayer, for The Miracle, We NEED... For Her Life, to be continued. (This Miracle was Documented in The Journal of Medicine). Christ Hospital, had done all They could do. If it wasn't for Dr Gail D. Miller, directing Us, to R. M. I was late for my appt and was still able to be seen by Dr Miller because of another cancellation. Big plus! I had fasted for 12 hrs and really didn't want to have to reschedule. I found Dr Miller through an Internet search and based on her positive feedback from patients I was convinced she was the one for me. She has not disappointed me ever in my care. She is very thorough I her exams and will point out areas of concern and will follow up with referrals to other physicians when needed. I feel she has exceeded in my primary care as well as my OBGYN needs and I will continue my care under her guidance. I have had major surgery for a thyroid goiter that was first noticed by Dr. Miller in my routine exam and she encouraged me to seek further care. Sometimes I think they can be a little insensitive, like when taking my history the nurse asked me if I was serious about the amount of sexual partners I had and the doctor told me I needed to not drink around men after I reported a sexual assault. It feels kind of judgmental and makes me very hesitant to schedule another appointment even when I really need to. Other than that the facility is great and I appreciate the honesty and care they take. - K.D

I absolutely love Dr. Miller's office. I travel from the city (Bronzeville Chicago) and it is well worth it. The staff is great! They are all very knowledgeable and have the ability to assist you with scheduling, prescriptions, insurance, etc. When Rita (lab tech) calls me with my lab results, she advices me on ways to improve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Her technique was so gentle, that I didn't even feel the poke! When I Needed to get my receipt from Sophia, she greeted me with a big smile and asked how I was doing. I came in for my annual exam and had a urine sample taken, blood work drawn, talked with my doctor about my history and went over changes in sexual history, had a full head to toe exam, including Pap smear, and talked about various forms of contraceptives. - B.V.

My appointment was my annual check up. Upon my arrival, Daryl greeted me and ask for my name. She was friendly and asked me some questions to check me in. Very efficient. While waiting to see the doctor, I was able to make a payment for my medical balance. Sophie assisted me with this. Once again, she greeted me with a warm welcome, and assisted me with my payment with no issues. I returned to the waiting room, and sat down for a moment, when Dawn, the nurse, greeted me, let me know she would be my nurse and directed me to the examination room. While she was taking my medical history, she made my experience comfortable, while i gave her my medical history and concerns. She was efficient, and caring. My wait for the doctor was less than 10 minutes. Dr. Miller greeted me with a smile. She asked several questions about my health concerns. Dr. Miller always makes my appointment so welcoming by giving me her undivided attention. She is never in a rush, always asking questions and always answers my questions efficiently. Her examination of me was gentle and very through. I was comfortable the whole time. After we were done with several procedures, I was instructed to go to the lab for blood draw. Rita greeted me with a smile, and she proceeded to draw blood. Her technique was so gentle, I didn't even feel the needle go into my skin, before I knew it, we were done. I went to check out and was greeted again by Daryl. We made my follow up appointment at a day and time that was convenient for me! Very accommodating. Dr. Miller and Her staff are top notch. Dr. Miller is a phenomenal physician. By phenomenal, I mean that she is very thorough. Honestly, Dr. Miller goes above and beyond as a physician. She is caring, makes sure your body is working properly. Her thorough examination of all systems is a plus. Dr. Miller is an asset to the medical profession. I would recommend all women would benefit highly if they have her, Dr. Miller, as their physician. The office personnel are wonderful! They are kind, caring, and very knowledgable, too.
