Dr Harris is a wonderful doctor, takes time for your questions, engages you in a solid plan of action that supports the best health you can have and is so pleasant. His follow up is absolutely excellent. Because everyone loves him so, it can be difficult to get an appointment with him for other than an annual visit, like when you need acute care. However, most of the doctors and PAs in this practice are good, but I really do prefer seeing Dr Harris anytime I can when I have the need. - .J

Dr(s) Dreiling, Reade, and Murray founded, by faith, an office amid hundreds of doctors. Pregnant, I called for "Pro-Life"physicians-Dr. Dreiling #1, all three organizations. (I purposely phoned a group with no affiliation with Pro-Life.) Still, EAGLE named #1. Flawless, experts, superior, above reproach, They were perfection, magical. Staff, 100%, held to the doctors' commitment. Dr. Harris has seen us through the worst times of our lives. He doesn't judge, even if I demean my medical issues. I want Triad, need Triad, I told everyone when they opened the 1st office. I knew, soon, people need care, in some ways, more than the treatment. She listenedto my reasons for being there and then took my blood pressure. She left the room after telling methe doctor would be in soon. On this day my doctor Smith was not in the office and it was imperative that I be seen by a doctor due to a Cortizone shot in my left shoulder by Dr. supple two days prior. I was in excruciating pain. Dr. supple had to have known how much pain I was going to be in for the next few days. I called the office and told the receptionist that I was in very bad pain and did not know what to do. She asked me how long it would take to get there and got me in right away. I saw a small twinkle of light at the end of the tunnel knowing that the doctor would at least see me, but I still had to see The doctor. My wait in the waiting room was a little long but I feel that was expected because Dr. Harris is not my doctor and had other patients. Dr. Harris greeted me with a smile even though I was disheveled and a mess from the past two days of pain. He was very easy to talk to and he listened well. He noted everything to be passed on to my PCP which will help greatly next time I see her. He gave me enough medication to get over the next few days of severe pain. I cannot thank him enough. Went to see Dr. Harris for my twice yearly check since I have quite of few health concerns and they wax and wane.He gave me good feedback after he examined me that my VS were wnl and lungs were clear. I mentioned that I hadbeen unable to exercise due to SOB but since the prednisone wean and putting me on Advair I am noticing a BIG difference and will begin walking as soon as the weather is higher than 50 degrees after work. Walking during work for my job I have noticed that I am not sob after a little bit , so I step it up and walk faster and have minimal SOB.Progress! The exercise can help me lose weight and at my request he gave me a short term diet pill to help me to change habits and feel full sooner. Then we talked about monthly followups since I was on this med and to talk about my AIC which has been climbing since 2012.Dr Harris motivates me to improve my health and to be as healthy as a person my age can be, Which fits right in with my desire to keep going, going, going. Dr. Harris gets all AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAs in my book. - D.S

Dr. Randy Harris has been my physician for many years now, and he's always been open-minded enough to not be opposed to me treating myself with non-prescription supplements (where applicable) for certain health conditions that I have. He always has a smile on his face no matter what kind of day he's had, and always greets me with a friendly hand-shake. He's very thorough when it comes to checking the things that a regular physician should check when doing a yearly examine. He's never, ever acted high-minded like he's the Doctor (who's smarter than me that went to Med school) and I'm just a dumb ole patient that knows nothing about the conditions that I have. Nope! He's just the opposite! Every time I go to see him he's always trying to get me to let them do certain test, which I know that he's doing this for me, and has my best interest at heart. But I recon I'm just stubborn, and broke my times on top of that which plays into the equation. However, this last trip I actually let him run a few test on me, lol. But overall I'd give Dr. Harris (on a score from 1-10) a 10! Or on a 5 Star rating I'd give him 5 Stars! This visit was for my Annual Wellness Exam although Dr. Harris has been my primary care physician for about 15-20 years. He is superb, and I would not think of considering a different physician. He is always up to date on his laptop which he updates during my check up. He makes me aware of the dates due on all of my wellness and prevention tests and immunizations. He listens very attentively and addresses every concern that I have about any changes in my health status and especially any new pain or concern. If there is a need for further tests, he makes sure that those are ordered and follows up on the lab results. He has addressed and ordered prescriptions or scheduled tests for my physical conditions such as anxiety, hypothyroidism, osteopenia, pelvic pain, insomnia or any other health concerns over the years. He also makes sure that my mammogram and colonoscopy are on schedule and any other tests that are needed to address my concerns about any pain I may be experiencing. Any needed lab work is always done the day of my exam including my TSH, cholesterol, diabetes and other screening blood work results. Dr. Harris is an excellent physician who is the most caring physician I have ever had, and I am 69 years old. He is definitely worth a slightly longer wait from time to time, but I always know that I will get his full, undivided attention when my turn comes!!! - M.S

I had been to the ER in Thomasville, NC on 6/18 & wanted to follow up with Dr. Harris since he is my primary care provider. I had been very sick with coughing , severe nausea with vomiting & a severe headache. The ER physician treated me for the nausea & headache . Dr. Harris prescribed antibiotics for the coughing & congestion & shortness of breath which must have been what I needed because I have become much better. He listened to me as he always does & found the problem which actually caused me to become so sick. I was so glad there had been a cancellation & I could see him so quickly after the ER visit. I feel like the ER treated the immediate issue without finding the cause even though I had explained what symptoms preceded the headache etc. I had seen Dr. Harris in March when he checked my vitamin D level & found it low, after taking the vitamin D Rx I have had a major reduction in overall pain which has greatly reduced my need for pain meds. It is a rare attribute in a managed care world for sure. This was a follow up visit for a 8-10 week period of me being sick and answers coming forth slowly from the specialists. My only concern is that I feel sure his overloaded schedule is due to others feeling the same confidence in Dr. Harris that I do....when I really need him in an acute manner, it is very difficult to get in to see him in a reasonable timeframe. Dr. Harris has been my primary care physician for almost 12 years. I have regularly scheduled appointments every 3 months throughout the year for lab work and exams, but due to the deterioration of my health I often see him almost monthly. I have so much confidence in him that unless he suggests I see a specialist for a specific medical reason, I depend on him for all my health issues, concerns and medication management. He is a warm, kind physician who really takes the time to listen to me. He has never made me feel rushed or left the exam room until all my questions have been answered. He cares about my health, yes, but he also cares about my quality of life. He has never just examined me, written a prescription and was done. Close to the end of 2015 I had scheduled my annual physical. Dr Harris had been watching my PSA levels for several years. He noticed a slight elevation in those levels and sent me to have a colonoscopy and to a visit with a urologist. Prostate cancer was detected at the urologist visit. The level of cancer was much higher than indicated by the PSA levels. Both Dr Tannenbaum (urologist ) and Dr Borden (surgeon ) complimented Dr Harris to me for his professionalism and quick action to get the ball rolling on this problem. I am very glad to have Dr Harris for my primary care doctor. The cancer is localized in the prostate. Surgery is scheduled for 2/8 to remove the prostate and the cancer. Thank you Dr Harris. - .B

I would not have another doctor if possible for my regular doctor.
