This visit was for my annual physical. I arrived on time checked and and had a seat in the waiting room. I don't think I waited 5 minutes, everything continued to move quickly and efficiently. My only negative comment would be when I had to go get labs and I was walked over to the lab by Dr. Fulp and the technician made it clear that she would have rather I sit in the lobby and be called than come on in and take a chair. I'm pretty sure she saw Dr. Fulp walk me over to have labs drawn and I just think it could have been addressed differently. - A.L

She explains what your meds are for and what they do. She asks if you have any questions or concerns. She always goes out of her way to make you feel important. Dr Fulp reviewed the notes from nurse, asked relevant questions, examined my eyes, ears, throat and chest. Determined what my cough and breathing issue was and prescribed zpac 5 day. The meds worked, I am feeling fine now. Dr. Fulp is always friendly, asks about my husband who also goes to her, been there together . She is very personable and extremely knowledgeable. A couple of times I wasn't sure in the past of the diagnosis, (seemed weird that a scratch on head would make glands swell, one incident) but she was always 100% correct. This was a last minute made appointment. I called the day before and was able to get an appointment the very next day. The appointment was great. I got in on time and everything was very pleasant. Dr. Fulp was very patient. She had an emergency conference call and I had to wait in the room for a little while, but the nurse came in and informed me of the call. That was very professional I have been to doctor appointments and sat waiting not knowing what was going on. On short appointment notice, Dr. Fulp examined me and determined that I may need orthopedic x-rays of my neck from a possible injury (or arthritic condition) and was arranging to have an appointment set up with my orthopedic surgeon. I saw Dr. Fulp because I was experiencing vertigo and discomfort in my left ear. She diagnosed me with an inner ear infection and prescribed an antibiotic, doxycycline, and recommended I switch from Walitin to Zyrtec because I usually have a fluid retention that exacerbates my vertigo. ( I have Menieres Disease.) I took the meds and was relieved of the pain, the fluids, and the infection.
