This was important because any medical procedure causes some anxiety and the staff's friendliness helps to make you feel comfortable and at ease from the get go. I have no complaints. The scheduling was easy and the pre-procedure meeting on October 31 was informative and timely upon my arrival. As for the actual procedure...the whole process was timely and as expected, the staff was courteous, prepared, and accommodating, and the procedure was painless. I appreciate the doctor had excellent bedside manners as he seemed to be a totally different doctor than my visit 3 years ago when I had Medicaid. It appears insurance allows people to be treated differently in which they should not be. This was my first Colonoscopy and I was very apprehensive! The PA-C was very helpful and understanding when I went in for the initial visit. The MA who came in to provide the information about the prep and instructions talked way too fast for someone to comprehend. I did tell her to slow down and why, not sure she appreciated the information.I was running late the day of my procedure and very tense when I arrived. The staff greeted me with a friendly smile and told me not to worry, they understood. I was registered and taken to the back right away. The nursing staff were very polite and reassuring. The procedure went well and without any concern to share with you.I appreciate the phone call the next day to check on my status and to answer questions I might have.
