One of the reasons I like Eagle Physicians on New Garden is they stay on schedule. I rarely wait for more than 5-10 minutes to be called back. However, on the day of my visit, there was a lengthy line to check in. The PA is thorough, willing to answer questions & doesn't rush the visit. - .P

She takes her time understanding what's going on with me and she tries to gives the best diagnose that she is able to give based on the information that have given. She cares and it shows in the way that she goes that extra step to say 'well let's try doing this for a month and see how it works and if it does not, then we will try something different or doing this for this period of time", she never forces anything on you, but she sugguest and that goes a long ways with me. I remember sending her an e-mail for a re-fill and I told her in the email things that were going on in my life that were not directly happening to me and she went the extra step to not only respond by way of e-mail, but called my cell phone also and left a message stating that if there is anything else that she could do to be of assistance to please let her know, that was kind and she did not have to do that, but she did because that's the kind of person she is, very caring and geniune and that's the kind of people you want taking care of you. - .B

My vitals were taken and I waited a short time to be seen by Jessica. She was polite, efficient and treated me with concern. Diagnosis was given and prescriptions written. I love that Eagle providers do not dash off the rx and send me out the door. I get a sinus infection every year around Christmas and usually hit the minute clinic for convenience sake. I am SO GLAD I called the office. I have several spots offered to me for that day and the appt itself was FAST. and I left with non- pharmacy suggestions and was able to resolve the issue with OTC meds. Our world has too many pharma answers so it is refreshing to have a dr office that does more than write scripts. - .S

I was a little hesitant coming to a new dr and new office but once I hit the door I was made to feel very comfortable right from the start. Christy was my nurse and she is amazing! Both she and Dr. Monty made me feel like I had been there for years and that meant a lot. I have looked for a new primary care dr for a few years now and was sent to Eagle by several friends who had nothing but good things to say about the staff there. I did not get the lady's name that checked me out but she too was very friendly. My appointment was at 2 pm and I was out the door in my car by 2:38 which I have NEVER had happen. I am use to having to wait hours for an appointment so this was an extra bonus to the friendly experience. Dr. Monty and Christy took time to ask me questions and were very thorough. By the end of my appointment all of my concerns and issues were addressed and my future needs for appointments were lined up. When I left all my questions were answered and the next steps in place. This was a recommended follow-up visit for a diagnosis of bronchitis from a clinic visit on March 17th. I found Jessica to be professional with excellent interpersonal skills. Her examination and questions made me feel relaxed for a dialogue with her. I needed a thyroid prescription refill and she took the time to walk me over to the lab area to obtain the necessary lab test for the prescription. That is being thorough; the prescription was refilled. I would see her again, if my primary is not available. - A.V

I went in because I had a bad cough. I did not have to wait long in the waiting room, and then was brought in by a nurse who checked my vitals. THen very shortly after that, Jessica came in. She checked me out thoroughly, asked me alot of pertinent questions, and prescribed an antibiotic and nose spray for me. We also talked about the over-the-counter meds I could take to help control the cough so I could sleep at night. After 5 days, I am beginning to feel better and cough less - so the treatment seems to be working.This was the first time I'd met with the PA, and so I appreciated how professional and knowledgeable Jessica was, and that I did not have to wait a long time to get in, and then out. This was my first wellness medicare physical exam. Jessica did a marvelous job checking my blood pressure, vital signs, current symptoms, physical exam, and making sure my medicines were up to date,She checked the swelling in my ankles and feet and prescribed a fluid pill for me . She also made sure that the new gynecologist she referred me to treated me well and that my bleeding had stopped and that it was determined I did not need a hysterectomy.Jessica listened intently as I described all I had been through in the past few months and she also listened to how I was liking the endocrinologist she had referred me to for my uncontrolled diabetes.She ordered lab work and even gave me the necessary handouts to prepare my advanced directives. Had emergency shoulder surgery on 11/1 at Montefiore Hospital, Bronx, NY.while visiting my son. Slipped and fell down 11 stairs dislocating and shattering my left shoulder. When I returned to NC I contacted my Ortho for follow up. Unfortunately, they would not see me until the records caught up from NY. I was told it would be 10 to 15 after receipt of authorization. I went to Eagle hoping to get some help with pain management until I could get an appointment with Guilford Orthopedics which I am a patient with. Jessica listened to my updating her on the incidences that arose from my surgery in August for a endometrial biopsy, mirena insert, and d and c. She listened carefully as I explained all the complications from the incorrectly performed epidural and the 2 blood bandage procedures I endured plus the continuation of vaginal bleeding, high glucose, and headaches. She scheduled me for an appointment with an endocrinologist as in spite of increasing my insulin doses every few days my A1C was over 10.She was concerned about my itching in my vagina as a possible allergic reaction as well as my headaches and recommended having the mirena removed.I explained my fear as I cannot even endure a pelvic exam without having sedation and how unhappy I am with my uncaring OB/GYN physician. I will be going to the endocrinologist on 11/22 and hope that then I will be able to determine if the mirena is possibly the cause of my diabetes becoming uncontrolled.Jessica was very understanding and caring and gave me her full attention and let me know she truly cares about my health and wants to help me with all my conditions. It was my first meeting with Jessica and I liked her very much. My feedback is that I called the office back twice after my appointment. First, because I received a text from CVS regarding a prescription that had been called in for me after my blood work came back. I wanted to confirm that I should start on a new medication. Then, because it was a prescription for a Diabetes medication I wondered if I needed to monitor my blood sugar levels and get a meter. I expected a call in advance from your office, not necessarily Jessica, before being notified by the pharmacy.
