Dr. Tannous was thorough in his questions, trying to identify the cause of my GI symptoms. He spent a good amount of time with me, and I didn't feel as though he was trying to hurry. He suggested I start the FODMAP diet, which I learned is used for IBS symptoms. He also said, basically, to go back to the restrictions I was on while trying to get some relief from previous symptoms that turned out to be microscopic colitis. The only concern I have was he did not explain the FODMAP diet at all, just handed me a list of foods to eat/not eat. I got online and did my own research into what FODMAP means. I am to see him again, three months from the original appointment. At that time, if my symptoms have not improved, he will run a test to see if I have a gut bacteria usually contracted from abdominal surgery. However, I have only had tubal cautery, and that was over 20 years ago. - Mary Duggan

Staff person that took vitals was asking private things that were between me and the Dr. Name tag was upside down so I don't know the name. Scheduling person was polite and knowledgeable of the Dr's ways of doing things and quick and easy to work with. Didn't even wait for 1 minute total the whole appointment. - B.M

I had a Pillcam SB capsule endoscopy. I went to the office early AM and swallowed a capsule. Instructions were simple and I returned the next morning. That day I passed the capsule. I went back the next week to hear the results. Everyone was curtious and answered all my questions. - J.N
