Kristen and staff examined shoulder and after discussion of differential Dx determined an ultrasound was indicated to confirm a possible rotator cuff tear. The subsequent ultrasound was quickly scheduled. As always, staff seems more like family every visit and Kristen was thorough, gave me the appropriate amount of time and listened well. I have always been happy with my visits to Eagle. I think Kristen is AWESOME! She has a great "bedside manner". She seemed very enthusiastic about helping me find a resolution to an ongoing skin problem which other doctors haven't been able to. The only issue I have is Kristen told me she would communicate the results of a blood draw on 12/30 by either the end of that day or sometime the next day. I thought maybe the New Year holiday might interfere but she assured me that my lab results would be available within 24 hrs and that she would be in touch with me. A prescription would be given based on the results to help reduce water in my system. I never received any communication and had to reach out to the office on 1/3 and prompt someone to act based on the lab results. It was only then I was told of the results and my prescription was transmitted over to CVS. I opted out of the Portal because they all frustrate me and its impossible to keep up with all the passwords for the many medical professionals I see. I chose text message option. All I ever got was a text telling me to check my results on the Portal..I am not upset, I am used to being my own patient advocate. My only lite criticism is a lack of communication in this particular instance. I was expecting a call I never received. I shouldn't have had to chase someone down to tell me what was going on after being told someone will be back in touch within 24 hrs.. I look forward to my next visit with Kristen to follow up on the treatment we stared to resolve my issue. I can bring this up to her face to face when I see her. - .R

Next, I was greeted with a professional medical assistant who, after guiding me to the weight scales and room, looked over my bottles of medication to compare with my chart. Next, Kristen Nelson, PA, greeted me and went over my BP and listened to my lungs and heart rate. Next, the medical assistant drew my blood for lab work to monitor my cholesterol, blood sugar and overall well being. A couple of days later, I read all of the results on the Eagle Meds patient portal web site in the privacy of my home.I checked out after making an appointment for July 2020.
