Dr. Buccini spent plenty of time with me... explained his conclusions and treatment path in a very understandable and logical way. He made certain I understood everything that we went over and what my choices were for treatment. He explained why he agreed (or disagreed) with my choices so that, in the end, I had no doubt that our conclusions were the right path to take. With out a doubt, Dr. Buccini provides the best and most thorough office visits I have ever experienced from a physician!

I went in for a consultation on Tuesday and was told they had an opening on Thursday for my colonoscopy and endoscopy. From the time I walked in until the end of my visit, I received excellent care from all staff and Dr. Buccini. Everyone introduced themselves and made me feel like they really cared. While it's never fun to prep for this procedure the care and time that Dr Buccini spent with me and my husband before and after the colonoscopy put my mind at ease that all was well. I had very little discomfort afterward, and just as I was forewarned...the prep was the worst part.I will definitely repeat the procedure here, and as I posted on facebook for all my 'friends' to see, I was completely satisfied with Dr Buccini and his excellent staff.

My procedure was a colonoscopy. The entire process was handled extremely well from the appointment, to the office visit prep, to the actual procedure itself. The staff was very attentive in setting up my appointment. Shelia did an outstanding job with the consultation on December 16, and Angel was very helpful at the front desk upon my arrival on Dec 16Then on the day of my procedure (Dec 23), the front desk attendant was very nice and helpful as well as the nursing staff especially my nurse, Kim. As always, Dr. Buccini was the GREATEST. He explained everything to me, answered any questions, and did an outstanding job with my procedure along with his attentive surgical staff. I had no problems whatsoever.... No pain, no discomfort, no unanswered questions; Everything was planned to perfection, and there were no surprises. Everyone involved in my care were kind, thoughtful, thorough and competent. Lady at front desk checked me in in a timely, courteous manner. I was called back almost immediately. I was placed in a private area. Nurse admitted me, checking meds etc.. She was very thorough and experienced. Nurse placed an IV without any difficulty or pain. I was immediately moved to area of procedure and anesthesiologist explained her role and procedure. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable in her hands. A nurse came in and positioned me for procedure and answered questions that I had. MD arrived and was very kind and professional and answered questions that I had with satisfaction. On awakening, the nurse was there to assure that I was alright and soon assisted me to another area where I had a short wait for MD. Nurse in that area was kind and efficient and was able to tell me what to expect. MD arrived and explained findings and scheduled appointment for further discussion. He was thorough but did not go into too much detail as I was still somewhat drowsy. Nurse then assisted me to car with my friend. All in all it was a good experience and I would recommend my doctor to others.

Arrived at the office at 2 p.m. and completed the necessary registration process. Within 10 minutes I was taken back to the prep area and the nurse went over the procedure with me and naturally verified who I was etc. Within in next 10 minutes an IV was completed and I was wheeled back into the procedure room. I talked with Dr. Buccini and his assistant and shortly thereafter was out. I do remember putting my clothes back on but not much after that. Bruce, my partner, indicated that Dr. Buccini came out and gave a positive report and the nurse provided him with discharge information and accompanied me to the car. After 16 years as a patient of Dr. Buccini he continues to be my best choice for treatment of ulcerative colitis. He even called me on a Saturday afternoon when I was in a flare up condition. I had a wonderful experience getting my first colonoscopy with Dr. Buccini. The staff was kind, caring, and courteous. I was taken care of with kid gloves and treated like I was the most important patient that they every had. Dr. Buccini has such a nice bedside manner that he put my worries to rest.
