I transferred from another provider due to insurance and distance to downtown Seattle. My condition is complex and difficult to treat. The experience would have been much harder had it not been for Drs Cameron and Jones. The office staff from front to back offices are stellar. Great communication among staff. The competency is so assuring. The entire office is staffed by really nice folks who truly care. For simple or complex care, I would not hesitate to recommend this provider for eye care to a friend or family member.
I was referred to Dr.Cadera for double vision evaluation, he was then had me follow up with his assistant Orthoptist Vinhvy. She is a genius in Prism and passionate at what she does. She is the only provider that listen to my double vision issue and has sympathy for it. She corrected my double vision with a Sticker on my glasses. Now i am more comfortable driving at night and anywhere i go. Cannot wait to see her again. The clinic itself is great. Totally recommend NWEYES.

We were a little late getting started, but once under way the exam went smoothly and all my questions were answered.
During my first visit to NW Eye Surgeons, Dr. Carlson took the needed time to listen to my eye history and ask pertinent questions. She answered all of my questions as well. This back and forth process helped both of us zero in on potential answers to my eye problem. She was efficient, kind, professional and knew her subject extremely well and how to communicate in.
I could not ask for better or more caring people. All have been great at the 3 facilities I have been to.

I wondered for about 4 years if botox would be of any value to me with my facial spasms. It had become very distracting & at times embarrassing for me. My husband kept encouraging me to ignore it, since we didn't think there was much to be done for it & I didn't know who to go to for help. When in to your office for my regular checkup, Dr. Wright mentioned that Dr. Carlson did botox injections that ins. would cover, I thought I may as well give it a try. Thus far I have been very impressed. The twitching is currently almost gone, just some spots that we didn't see the need for injecting at the time. My husband is also very thankful. ;~).
This is his mother...since he’s three. Haha. He had a good time there. We were late for our appointment because we’d somehow gotten wires crossed about what time to be there, but they got us in at a later time, so we just waited. He was treated so well and loved the attention he got. The toys there are his favorite part, and they keep his attention very well. Overall great experience. The staff was very personable and he did great with them. He sometimes gets really shy in new situations, but he warmed up to the great staff very quickly.

I had Cataract surgery and Vision Correction 2 with Dr. Kristi Bailey and her staff. It's difficult to express the joy at 75 to have regained the vision I had as a young man. The procedure was a piece of cake and it's a relief not to have to deal with glasses again.

I was surprised by the check in procedure but you had a person to help so it worked out. The waiting room was full and I expected a long wait but was taken in with a couple of minutes of sitting down, and probably 20 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment. I was very impressed with Dr. Chin and his staff, and if it wasn't a 3 hour round trip to visit there I'd have no hesitation about having all my eye care there. I may still do that, although the alternative of using the more southern [Renton I think it was] clinic was mentioned.IN summary, I felt I received excellent care and would recommend the clinic to all.

The assistant that comes in before Dr Chin is very pleasant and professional. Dr Chin is very good. The folks at the front desk are a bit slow and a line up of patients forms. The woman who did my visual field exam did a good job.

I am pleased with doctors and front desk representatives.
I had cataracts in right and left eyes, and had lense replacements in both. After the left eye (first) was done, the difference between left and right was dramatic and I could readily discern the yellowing my natural lenses had undergone. I scheduled the second eye as soon as I could and now enjoy great vision in both eyes with corrective lenses for reading only. I had different teams for each operation, both were very professional, considerate, and did there very best to insure my comfort throughout the surgeries. Regaining eyesight is truly a gift. Thank you Dr. Cameron!

Dr. Rostov is top-notch. I had no issues with my surgery. The front desk was well organized and explained everything in detail and made sure I understood. I had multiple procedures, and I can not say enough about Dr. Niemeyer, Dr. Kuhnline, and all the surgical staff and office staff. Totally professional yet still treated you like family, I always felt comfortable and relaxed. That is definitely what you need when your eyes are being cared for, as we all value our sight. Dr. Rostov is, without a doubt, one of the best corneal surgeons in the world. She has saved me so many times, I cannot even count them at this point! I was able to get an appt the morning I woke up with an eye problem. I received a prescription for the correct drops for my problem and it cleared up in a short time. I saw Dr. Jones and Dr. Clermont. It was a very satisfactory treatment.

Sign in was very easy with the automated kiosk. The waiting room was clean and quiet and the coffee machine was a nice touch. My nurses and techs were very nice and efficient. My doctors were able to take the time to answer my questions. I did have to wait for a while in each exam room between tests, though I think the clinic had a very high volume that day.

The entire experience was great. My daughter is only 3 months old and all of the staff were so great with her. Our doctor knew exactly what the problem with her eye was in a matter of 10 minutes. 5 stars from us!
because of the backlog of patience due to the previous 2 weeks of snow the wait time was a lot longer but the staff did an excellent job of keeping things going.
Very busy office but each of us were treated very professionally and felt like we were the most important. The afternoon was long but passed quickly and I was cared for and out the door and on my way home before I knew it!Wonderfully caring and knowledgeable staff and Dr. Niemeyer is the best!
Had to wait couple months or so for appointment then doc broke he leg skiing but after that appointments were a breeze, staff was lovely - all of them, surgery wasn't as scary as I anticipated, outcome was all I did expect and with a bit of time I am positive all will be even better than perfect!

The new kiosk to check in takes a bit of time as it is new. Once I adapt to it, it will be a speedy check-in. I was greeted by a courteous receptionist who helped me use the kiosk to check in. I was called within 5 minutes to an exam room. The medical assistant was polite and prompt. I was then seated in a second waiting room to wait for the provider. I waited about 15 minutes. The provider was very clear in all of her explanations. She referred me to another provider. That was the end of my visit. Overall it was a very good experience.
I appreciate the promptness of the staff. I never have to wait an unreasonable time. The staff are very friendly and Dr. Chin is very thorough and I trust him explicitly. I especially enjoy that coffee is provided. I come in a bit earlier so I can enjoy some coffee because I know I won't have to wait for my appointment. Thank you!

I had surgery on the above date and everything went well with the staff. The check-in process was a little off and didn't flow but everything else flowed. Ann was my nurse a d she was detailed oriented and thorough. Patrick the anesthesiologist is just top rate and I didn't feel anything but yet he explained the Amnesia I will also be experiencing. Dr. Rostov is just awesome and so was the surgical staff. I think my surgery took longer than anticipated as I could hear everything under the drape with the procedure. I'm not healing at the rate I want to be healing however that is on me and not on the staff. Your support staff on the outpatient setting is impeccably great Felicity and I can't spell his name set the tone for the appointment and always warmly greet me. Uzi always has a smile and handle stress very well. I always recommend and brag about doctor Rostov and your whole staff everytime given an opportunity.

The treatment described 2 months earlier had dropped the pressure to the target pressure....surgery not necessary, continue with drops. Very happy with the accurate diagnosis, it is what I had hoped for after leaving my earlier ophthalmologist. Very Happy and relieved to be treated at NW Eye Surgeons.

My waiting time was about 7-10 minutes. Courteous front desk staff. Billing person took the time to check my medical insurance status to date since primary insurance no longer after I retired in December 31, 2018.
The information to my problem was addressed and to my satisfaction, I was at ease with the Dr. and more than satisfied with his answers, the only thing I really had a problem with was my original date I inquired was the 17th of January and was told the next available appt. time would be the 22nd of Feb. but they would put me on a cancellation list of which I agreed to. The cancellation came and I was able to obtain an appt. on the 28th of Jan. much to my satisfaction since I was extremely worried about my eye problem I had been experiencing.
Wait times were minimal and I was hustled through with few questions left unanswered. I was impressed with the number of personnel that took care of me and the whole experience was mostly pleasant.
I don't know what I would have done without this team. I am in the middle of a difficult situation without easy answers at this point due to medication reactions and limited options. I appreciate their patience with me and their time. Koelle Leenstra.

I was greeted when I came in and offered help with the new check in process. I didn’t wait long and was through in a very short time, yet not rushed. I had all my questions answered.
Having been referred by my Optometric Physician, I filled out the paperwork necessary, and had very little wait time before being greeted and taken for testing. After that having been completed, and the results given to Dr. Osgood, he did further testing and an eye examination. He explained his suggestions for treatment, answering all the questions I presented and with that the assurance that the decisions were mine to make as to what I wished to proceed with, or not. All the pros and cons were discussed in detail, and without any pressure, offered that I need not make any decisions if I wasn't comfortable in committing to procedure and schedule. Everyone I dealt with was professional and informative. Not being rushed was helpful in assessing what my decision would be, and options for scheduling that met my time schedule were offered. I left feeling very satisfied with my initial visit to Northwest Eye Surgeons.

I was a walk in considerable distress with a left eye injury. The lady who logged me in was truly outstanding( Maybe her name is Jennifer). She moved me through the incoming process and conducted a preliminary exam to determine my condition and had a DR. see me with minimum delay. Treatment followed and was successful. Everyone needs eye care at sometime in their life and I hope that care is a good as that which received. (A special thanks to the lady who logged me in).

The automated check in was a little confusing in the beginning, but there was a very nice staff member to answer all questions. The exam was thorough and all my questions were answered. I did have to wait around awhile in order to schedule my laser procedures.
I arrived on time. I was walked through the kiosk for signing in. Waited less than 5 minutes before being taken back for treatment and consultation. Very kind and happy staff. Dr. Hoki was very nice and professional she provided me with an honest diagnosis and a treatment plan.
I have only been through the initial consultation phase. The procedures are scheduled for next month.
The computer system that replaced the smiling faces on Entry to the clinic have a distinctly impersonal touch. The information for people like me who frequently visit the clinic is repetitious. I don't see why I can't log into your computer and have it say "hello Lynn , welcome back". Other than that the visit was typically excellent in every way, even including the coffee in the lobby.

I have great confidence that my vision problem can be fixed - which would make me free of any type of vision correction. After nearly 55 years - it is a wonderful feeling. The only drawback is that I am so excited about getting the surgery done - the wait to get it scheduled is agonizing but understand that Dr. Carlson is making sure that there will be no problems to proceed once I get my retinas analyzed. In a perfect world - I would love to have the surgery done instantly!

My local walk-in clinic scheduled this appointment for me (kudos to them) because I needed a the services of an eye specialist to diagnose and treat my eye condition. I was impressed that I got into the clinic quickly, check-in was easy. The wait was reasonable. The doctor was fabulous, I wish I could keep her for all my eye medical needs. So far the treatment is working well and I expect very good results. Also, the clinic was reasonably close to my home and offered good parking. Can’t say enough good things about the experience (except that my eye hurt really bad).

Staff treated me professionally. I was furnished a detailed description of procedure I was to receive and what to expect. Never left wondering what was going to happen next. Nurses did their best with my hard stick arms to insert connection to my vein. No complaints with staff.

I am seen regularly to monitor an ongoing eye condition.The staff is friendly and welcoming from the time I come in the door until I have my next appointment scheduled and am on my way.
I am a returning patient at Whatcom Eye Surgeons, Bellingham, and even though it has been awhile since I was there most everything has been upgraded. I love the changes in the new addition !! Even the check-in process is quick and easy. As I see it, the only thing that couldn't be changed is how well patients and visitors are treated by all the staff and Doctors !!! The pressure on both eyes was checked. I was told that the one eye that bothered me most was doing all right. Any question that I askedwas explained right away. I've been going to Northwest Eye for more years than I remember, and have always been satisfied with thecare I received.
Dr. Rostov is clearly brilliant and gifted. The staff that she and her partners have selected are, flat out - second to none. Your eyesight is a critical component of everyday life and if you have a condition that requires expert diagnosis and treatment like keratoconus or cataracts, then you owe it to yourself to consult with Dr. Rostov.
As noted above, i didn't change anything from Excellent, because that was my experience. The procedures were as non-invasive as they could be, it seemed to me, for the doctor to get the information he needed; staff and Dr. Wright were professional yet approachable. They were able to answer any question I had easily and left me feeling I was in the hands of people who knew what they were doing. The fact that they were able to ease some of my fears in the moment played into my perception of the office in general, of course, but I'd have no trouble recommending this office to friends who had similar needs.
Was treated very well. The wait times before surgery is a little longer than I would like. But overall everyone was very polite.

I had an appointment for a Glaucoma screening. They warned me in advance that it would be a 2-3 hour appointment. Everything ran right on time, very little waiting and I was done in just over 2 hours.

Dr. Griggs, Dr. Lee, and their staff are wonderful, specifically Jordan and LJ. They make an uncomfortable experience (the Avastin shots) as comfortable as possible and I wouldn't go anywhere else for treatment.
The staff was amazing from the initial scheduling to and through my surgery. Dr's Griggs and Lee were amazing, answering all my questions and explaining the procedures so that I completely understood everything. I have been going to NWES for many years, referred by University of Washington. I have excellent care by all staff and Dr. Kristi Bailey. I have always appreciated the friendly atmosphere, the advanced eye equipment.
All of the staff are friendly and professional and see to all of my mother's needs in a timely manner. I truly appreciate that they don't over-book appointment times and we are in and out with minimal waiting. Each visit is a pleasant experience, and we always know why each procedure is being done and what the results are. If prescriptions need to be filled or updated, they are always done right away; and we know what the upcoming course of action is whether it's knowing what needs monitoring or scheduling follow-up appointments. Plus, they have a lovely coffee and tea service with real mugs in the waiting area, which is very appreciated on cold days.

Everything was amazingly simple for me. Everyone told me exactly what I had to do and when. They made sure I was comfortable and warm and that I knew what was happening next. And when I woke up from surgery, the post op technician handed me a cup of peanut butter and a cup of coffee!! It was a most wonderful experience.

It was awesome from begining to end.
I had a terrible eye infection that seemed to develop overnight and got worse as the day went along. By chance I was in the neighborhood and thought I might get an appointment sometime during the week. To my amazement, Dr. Bence saw me that same day. Then again about 26 days later. The office staff at the front counter is friendly, however, the staff that walks you into the exam room and does the preliminary exams are exceptional. Dr. Bailey has always been my favorite, and I can now say Dr. Bence rates right up there with Dr. Bailey.
We want to thank Dr Carlson for her very thorough and professional treatment, but even more for her concern for me. My condition was very scary, but Dr Carlson eased mine and my husband's fear. Thank you VERY much, Anna and Bill Gordon.
The spontaneous reaction to my discomfort was so impressive. I do not respond well to dilation and several of the staff, not directly caring for me, offered help in the form of crackers, water, and ice packs. All the staff were friendly and informative. They took as much time as I needed to understand what the procedure was about, risks, options and expected results. My only suggestion would be to offer a tylenol or advil for the ride home rather than just inform me about what I could take. We had about an hour and a half ride home and the last 30 minutes were a bit painful.

Once upon a time I had an eye appointment in Sequim, it was somewhat cloudy but bright and I wore my sunglasses. Visited with my husband, my driver on the way while sipping coffee. Arrived a little early and waited, still visiting and enjoying the staff and fellow patients. Had my eyes dilated and took a mirage of tests which were comfortable and went Quickly. My doctor is alworalys polite and sweet. I did well since my last exam. No deterioration, I had no complaints. After my check up I could only see blearily but went out to the casino anyway and had no problem pushing buttons. The end. (Need more detail? Just ask. :).

Went to see Dr. Osgood and was nervous, not knowing him and afraid of eye surgery. He was recommended by my optometrist for glaucoma. I spoke with the receptionist, Victoria, about possibly switching Drs. She was so kind and supportive...not trying to talk me into staying or going. Then I talked with and was examined by the Tech, Amy. She was great and seemed very knowledgeable. Then I talked with Dr. Osgood. He seems very competent and reassuring. I will update this when my surgery is done!! Hopefully, it will stay a 5 star rating!

I have had the crosslinking done and have had a cornea transplant. Dr Rostov has been my surgeon through both procedures and has done a fantastic job!!! The staff at the seattle facility has been great to work with as well. I have already recommended NW Eye Surgeons to several people that I come in contact with that have have eye problems and will continue to do so.
My appointment felt very organized and professional. I was seated on time, the procedures were explained well and the time I was present went quickly. Dr. Cadera was friendly and professional as well.

I was misdiagnosed with macular degeneration at another specialist in Bellevue three months ago. I didn't trust the MD I saw in Bellevue, so I made an appointment with Dr. Griggs at Northwest Eye Surgeons. Drs Lee and Griggs spent time with me today explaining that I don't have macular degeneration, but another diagnosis that is much less frightening. All staff were pleasant and upbeat, the practice is organized and runs smoothly. It was worth the drive from North Bend to feel well taken care of and have an accurate diagnosis. Highly recommend!
Dr. Werner Cadera is very professional and his manner very straightforward and confident. Having steered clear of surgical procedures my entire life, I had many reservations about this procedure. In restrospect, I am very thankful for the Doctor and staff's attention and care. The results exceeded my expectations, which were high to begin with. My initial impression from the onset was the appearance that the clinic itself was hectic, judging by the many people coming and going in all directions. I suppose it's like a great restaurant or establishment, always busy! Again, my expectations were not only met but exceeded, and I am grateful for the excellent expertise and care from Dr. Werner Cadera.

Had cataract surgery with vision correction; the doctor and staff were very professional, with rigorous procedures. The process went very quickly and was explained every step of the way. If you are in doubt about the surgery or doctors...don't be. I had my eyes straightened in May and very happy about the results. Dr. Cadera and his staff put me at ease on the day of surgery and I relaxed because I knew I was in good hands. The nurses were so friendly and caring. I am a senior...and have 20 20 vision now. I have never in my life had 20 20 vision. I do not wear glasses except to read. Dr. Nguyen, CO (certified orthoptist) is friendly and answers all your questions. She is my doctor for visits after surgery. If I were the person reading this...trust these doctors and get the surgery.

My in-processing was quick and efficient. A technician took me into an examining room to update specific information about each of my eyes. From there I was taken to another examining room to meet with the doctor. He was cordial and engaged. He asked questions to help him recommend the best technical solution to my vision challenges. He was upfront about the cost side of the equation so I could make an informed cost/benefit decision for myself. The interactions were thorough and professional. I couldn't ask for anything more.
The people in this office are completely wonderful. I did not have anything to complain about, I would use them again if I had any other eye surgery , but I am hoping this is a one time experience.
I saw Dr. Cadera and he (and his staff) is great. I appreciated the excellent attention to detail at every turn. Time was taken to explain things to me that I didn't understand. Dr. Cadera had a real caring feeling towards my eye problem and I thank him.

I tend to read more reviews than I write, but based on the exceptional experience I have had with this practice, I wanted to share my review. I have A LOT of eye problems-namely cornea problems. I moved here from Chicago and was terrified I would not find a doctor as good as my eye surgeon in Chicago. My Dr. in Chicago actually called me an "annuity" :) so I am no stranger to eye surgeon's offices. I am so thankful to have found Dr. Rostov. I believe without any hesitation that there is no better Dr. in Seattle, and very possibly the entire pacific northwest- or anywhere! I have had 4 surgeries since I have come to Seattle (and 2 in Chicago) and EVERY single time I have been beyond impressed with the professionalism and expertise of this practice. As displeased as I am to have these problems, knowing that Dr. Rostov is on top of it diminishes my anxiety significantly. She is always honest about the issue, but very kind about it and willing to explain it in as much (or as little) detail as you would like. The follow up Drs after surgery are amazing, too. I think I have met almost all of them and they are also really terrific, caring, people. I always leave feeling like the people there (from the receptionist, to the scheduling folks, to the nurses and doctors) really care. I went to another (unnamed) office in Seattle when I moved here and it was a nightmare (on every level-beyond bad). They clearly didn't care and wanted to jump to aggressive, unnecessary, treatment. Dr. Rostov has the patience and talent to deal with issues with the patient's quality of life in mind, not just to do what's convenient or easy for her. I am not an easy patient. My issues are complicated and I ask a ton of questions (and not always relevant ones). When I come in, I know she is very busy, but she lets me ask ALL of my questions (even the crazy ones-and she doesn't make me feel crazy for asking them). I never feel rushed. I know that's the reason for the long waits people talk about-Dr's here are actually TAKING TIME with the patients, so it really doesn't bother me to wait. I should add that I have gone from being unable to read my computer to being 20/20 with glasses! They do amazing work here. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. I cannot say enough good things about the people here and the work they do. If you live in Seattle, consider yourself lucky to have access to this level of care.
I had a cataract removed and cornea cell transplant performed by Dr. Rostov in August and I'm quite impressed with all the staff and Dr. Rostov. Everyone was always pleasant and helpful. Before the surgery I was quite nervous and Dr. Rostov and the staff were very reassuring and made me feel safe and comfortable. I have continued to be impressed during all my follow up appointments and questions. I would definitely recommend NW Eye Surgeons and Dr. Rostov.

Are very pleasant professional and very personable I could go on and on about this place but if you ever need any attention to your fine please take this fine establishment into consideration he would be worth the drive or the effort I promise you will feel like they rolled out the red carpet for you much compassion and kindness all around very gentle I'm very understanding have been truly blessed By this experience thank you one and all at Northwest surgens... good doctors but everything others have said about horrendous wait times and inefficient use of time is true. be prepared to wait. overall im trusting that its worth it for the quality of the drs.
I'm a bit surprised by the bad reviews. We have been here a number of times for my daughters eye issues and seen Dr. Cadera. We have never had more than a 20 minute wait in the waiting room and never encountered rudeness (the patient being a child might influence this!), though the office is always busy. Originally we came because of a suspected diagnosis of ocular albinism which was confirmed. While there we began discussions about strabismus surgery and decided to move forward with that. I really appreciated Dr. Cadera calling me personally to discuss my daughter's case and answer any questions. He has always been thorough with diagnosis and treatment. Surgery went smoothly with good coordination between office, insurance, and patient. We have been pleased with the care we've received here and will continue to see them for my child's issues. The one downside is that they are very busy and you often do have to wait for appointments but this is not uncommon in medical offices!

He clearly explained his interpretation of my test results and options to correct my eyesight. I felt that his attention was 110% on my vision challenges and possible corrections. This is an update on my previous review. The billing manager contacted my husband a few days ago and got everything all sorted out. It turns out that checking with our insurance DID cause the billing issue. But now they know where the gaps are in the billing system and will work to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Would I recommend Northwest Eye Surgeons to someone else? Actually, yes I really would. I would do it all again, even with the annoying billing issue.Billing issues happen and those issues can be stressful and annoying but at the end of the day, the important thing is that they really took care of my husband. During the consult they took a lot of time explaining the risks of the procedure and were very careful to make sure his expectations of the results weren't too high and made sure he understood this wasn't a "miracle procedure"For example, they explained that he will have significant improvement BUT there would be a possibility he may need glasses after the 3 month healing time. However, if he did wind up needing glasses again his prescription wouldn't be nearly as strong. That sounded good to him, so we scraped up the money and set the appointment.On the day of the surgery, they made sure he was comfortable and made sure to give me everything he would need immediately after surgery.The procedure took a bit longer than expected given some issues with lining up the machine but the results were worth the wait. My husband went from only able to see just 6 inches past his face to easily being able to see me across the room! I didn't expect that much improvement immediately after surgery and it was just incredibly heartwarming to see his face light up when he saw me for the first time without the aid of thick eyeglass lenses.It's been about a month now so we still don't know quite where his eyes will land once they finish healing but he continues to see REALLY well. Even if he does wind up needing glasses again, the fact that he'll be able to _function_ without them will make this whole journey worthwhile.My hope is that one day, insurance _will_ cover laser surgery at least for people with severe visual impairment like my husband had. It really can be life changing. It wasn't too long ago when insurance didn't cover breast reconstruction surgery for breast cancer survivors and now it does so we can all hope.
The nurse and doctor were both wonderful with my stubborn toddler!! She even loved the toddler friendly waiting room so much she didn't want to go home!!
I've been coming here for about 4 years now. I have an eye condition that requires treatment and monitoring on a regular basis. I'm seen by doctors Lee and Griggs. Dr. Griggs is a bit brusque but is thorough, knowledgeable, and efficient. If you want someone to hold your hand and sympathize with you, he's not the best choice, but he knows what he's doing when it comes to diseases of the eye. The rest of the staff is friendly and helpful, and the office has state of the art innovative technology. I'm a satisfied patient and can easily recommend.
I had a lovely experience with Northwest Eye Surgeons. I was referred to Dr. Cameron by my optometrist, and did not call right away and NWES ended calling me to get me scheduled for a consultation. I was nervous and reading some less than complimentary Yelp reviews before my appointment did not help. The staff I encountered at NWES were all kind and courteous, and explained what was going on the entire time. Dr. Cameron was incredibly patient and kind as well, discussed in detail what his recommendations were to remedy my optic nerve issues and answered all of my questions. Sure, parking kind of sucks and like most medical professionals, scheduling is tight. But I was very pleased with my experience and am not nervous about having LASERS IN MY EYEBALLS anymore at all.
I don't know if this review is fair since I am both a patient and an employee but I promised there is no conspiracy here! I recently had an exam with Dr. Kuhnline and I received such attentive and thorough care. I felt listened to and her pleasant demeanor made the whole experience a positive one. It was nice to be on the "other side of the desk" and experience the clinic as a patient. 5 stars for Dr. Kuhnline and her technicians, 5 stars for NW Eyes as an employer!
I had cataract surgery here -- in both eyes. This is a really well run large operation. Dr Niemeyer is a pleasure to have as the operating surgeon and the other two eye doctors on the team were also excellent. Even though you are one of many, each member of the team is totally focused on you when they are with you, so the service feels quite personal.
Had cataract surgery for both eyes here. The practice consists of an incredibly supportive, kind, knowledgeable, competent, and overall excellent staff along with fabulous doctors. I'm not the easiest of patients. They treated me with respect and patience with a foundation of deep experience. On top of that, they are efficient and friendly. One is never, ever hurried. btw, my results are perfect.

Went to see Dr. Osgood and was nervous, not knowing him and afraid of eye surgery. He was recommended by my optometrist for glaucoma. I spoke with the receptionist, Victoria, about possibly switching Drs. She was so kind and supportive...not trying to talk me into staying or going. Then I talked with and was examined by the Tech, Amy. She was great and seemed very knowledgeable. Then I talked with Dr. Osgood. He seems very competent and reassuring. I will update this when my surgery is done!! Hopefully, it will stay a 5 star rating.

I am an optometrist with over 37 years experience diagnosing and treating eye disease. We moved here recently, and subsequently, my wife developed a detachment of her vitreous (my diagnosis). Not having all of my equipment with me, since I'm retired, I scheduled her to see Dr. Paul Griggs MD, on the advice of a colleague of mine back in Illinois. He and the staff were thorough and professional. They explained everything clearly. I would certainly recommend them for any medical Eyecare.

I was really impressed with this place. I interacted with 6 people and 5 out of the 6 were superb and the 1 that wasn't superb was ok. They didn't make me wait!The space was very clean and actually had some interesting art.While what I had done there was very minimal, I would certainly go back to them if I had more eyeball stuff I needed taking care of.

Went for cataract surgery with Dr Hoki. My cataract and eye condition was complicated but the operation went very well. Dr. Hoki is an excellent surgeon. The insurance and payment options was also very smooth. Overall I am super happy.

I was told that I might have glaucoma but the doctors here were able to figure out that my eye just lets the light in differently than the average eye so they don't test well. Great doctors and technology here!
The Staff was helpful and answered questions with a smile. The tech was very solicitous of my 93 year old mother and made her feel comfortable throughout the initial procedures. The doctor was knowledgeable and welcoming and made mom feel at ease. He did not talk above our knowledge but simply explained what he was doing and what he discovered during the exam. He welcomed our input and left it open for us to call him at any time if we had concerns. Overall it was a pleasant experience that could have been stressful given my mother's age. I couldn't be happier with the results of my recent cataract surgeries and the excellent care I received. Dr. Kuzin was very kind, thorough and professional. Staff members on every level were helpful, friendly and supportive. The nurses in surgery and the nurse anesthetist, James, were outstanding. I highly recommend Northwest Eye Surgeons.

I can not praise the Northwest Eye Surgeons in Mt Vernon, Wa. enough. I am extremely impressed with the level of examination, the complete analysis of my issues prior to proceeding with cataract removal. I was told everything from condition of my eyes, recommendations, options both surgical and financial and informed completely before I made a decision that would fit my personal needs. The staff is helpful and friendly, professional and my surgeon did an outstanding job on my right eye (1st surgery for cataract removal). I have passed the 1 week check up with flying color and am scheduled for left eye surgery soon. I can't begin to tell you how easy this went, how impressed I am and how pleased from beginning to end with surgery and every person I had contact with. What a huge difference. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility for your eye care needs. I have met two of the doctors, my surgeon being Dr. Kuzan and follow-up with Dr. Wright. Excellent score for the complete experience from initial visit, pre-op, surgery and follow-up. Thank you for your professional excellence that has restored my distance vision (I chose mono vision as I have worn contacts using this method successfully) and actually can not wait to have the second surgery on my left eye, reading. I was referred to Dr. Cadera by my specialist while attempting to recover my stereo vision lost due to untreated Strabismus/Amblyopia. I wanted to write this review as a genuine thank you to both his staff and Dr. Cadera. After 3 appointments a resolution has been met concerning my future prospects of a successful surgery resulting in stereo vision.Even though I am disappointed in this resolution, I am very happy with the professionalism, compassionate interaction I received throughout this process. Ms. Nguyen was especially clear and caring in her communication while working with me. I'd recommend NW Eye Surgeons without hesitation.

While my pre- and post-op visits were in Bellingham, I had the surgery in Mt. Vernon. I found everyone friendly, knowledgeable, reassuring, thorough and obviously caring. They all did everything possible to make me comfortable and when it was clear I was not comfortable, they did whatever they could to make it so. When I went for the next day exam, and it was apparent that my eye wasn't responding quite as expected, the doctor indicated he would alert the surgeon and asked me to come for another checkup before the weekend. I appreciate that extra step in the follow up.

Everyone at this office has been helpful, considerate friendly. Dr. Cuzin did Glaucoma and cataract surgery on my left eye which was very successful and my follow-up treatment and check-ups by Dr. Wright have all been a very good experience. Dr. Wright especially is thoughtful, listens to your concerns and makes every effort to address them. Also, I have never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes which is extraordinary for a medical office.

The procedure was far quicker and more comfortable than I had expected. Dr. Bailey has done hundreds of these each month for many years. I love this place. I've been going here for the past 2 years to treat my blepharospasms, Dr. Carlson is my physician. She is so personable and always answers my questions very well. She's got a warm and welcoming personality and has a very gentle hand with injections. They tend to book out kinda far though, so schedule early if you're gonna. So glad to have found this place!
