Regarding this visit, it was an urgent visit. The urgent nurse was very courteous and understood my problem therefore she was able to give me an excellent time for an appointment. The facility and staff was excellent in that they were well prepared for practicing social distance in the wake of the covid-19 virus. Wait time was well within limits for a short time. I have been seeing Dr. V since she started with the practice, a little over a year ago. She is genuinely interested in my overall health, taking time to document other providers (ophthalmologist, dermatologist, cardiologist, orthopedic, etc.) and securing their records of recent visits for her files. Understanding my entire history has helped her (and me) in determining the course of treatment for my diabetes (in check!) and any red flags identified by other providers. During my very first visit, I was nervous because I had just moved to Greensboro, but she immediately put me at ease with her calm and patient demeanor. After that, I don't hesitate to ask her any questions about my health and well-being. For e.g., she spent the time to examine & diagnose the cause of what others had dismissed as a minor hearing problem, and made use to follow up on that ear-related problem as well. This was an annual wellness exam, which is mandated by UHC and is of little value for patient health -- in my opinion. This is through no fault of the practice or physician -- they are required to do it. There were several unexpected things that happened requiring copays and extended time.
